Thayná Trindade, lives, studies and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is currently Assistant Curator and Researcher at the Rio Art Museum (MAR / Rio). She was Curator at the exhibition: Àmì: Ancestral Signs at ArteSesc/RJ (2023).
She has served as deputy curator at 01.01 Art Platform and the Glasgow Biennale (Scotland) International 2020/2021. Founding member of the African and Amerindian Studies laboratory Geru Maa | UFRJ.
His research is focused on contemporary art and curatorial processes in the Brazilian diaspora, from a quilombista and pan-African perspective. Art Historian from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
