Perigo Público

Born and raised in Quarteira, Élton Mota identified himself and fell in love with the suburban sounds coming from the other side of the ocean. Coming from an environment where the echo of that message found a perfect destination, he created his first RAP group while still in his teens, for many years he was part of the collective “APC - Autonomia Para Crea”, a mythical group from the Algarve hip-hop scene, but it was solo, on wheels and impromptu battles, which gained respect and notoriety among his peers and the public of this musical genre, being still today considered one of the greatest national references.

After the edition of “Jeans Monroe”, produced by Mike Ghost in 2014, Perigo Público joined Sickonce and in 2017 they released “1991” and in 2019 “Porcelana”, an album that they have been promoting and that has already taken them to stages like Festival F or Superbock in stock. He recently won the prize for best Algarve music, recognition given by the program “Choque Frontal” on radio Alvor Fm.
