Carolina Franco is a journalist for Gerador, a magazine focused on the investigation of portuguese culture. Born in Porto, in 1997, she deepened her interest and knowledge in art&culture while studying Artistic Production at Escola Artística Soares dos Reis. Carolina took a degree in Communication Sciences - Journalism at Universidade Lusófona do Porto and lived for 4 months in Ljubljana, Slovenia, thanks to the Erasmus Programme, where she had the chance to be involved by the post-yugoslavian culture and study Social Sciences. In 2018/2019 she attended a post-graduation in Art Curation at Universidade Nova de Lisboa - FCSH. Due to these experiences, she became more interested in the role culture plays in global society and local communities — a relation she seeks to deepen civically and professionally.
