Degree in Philology from the Faculty of Letters of the Classic University of Lisbon. She was director of documentation and information at CTT at the Universal Postal Union in Bern. She also was responsible for the Fernando Pessoa House and Councilor of the Lisbon City Council for the Citizens Movement for Lisbon.

She has led the Lisbon Crossroads of Worlds Office of the Lisbon City Council, and has been Secretary General of Casa da América Latina since 2011 in Lisbon
