Since 2015, Julie has been studying with François Benda at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel, where she got her Bachelor degree, and is continuing in Master Performance. Currently a member of Trio Gati and Basel Wind Ensemble, Julie is passionate about chamber music. She has been part of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, the Labeaume Music Festival and the Klangbasel Festival and has participated to many projects with the Orchestra Band ISB, the Neues Orchester Basel as well as the Opera Orchestra of Limoges. Julie began the clarinet in Clermont-Ferrand with Lionnel Froidefond before entering the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris where she continued her studies with Guy Dangain. In 2010, she participated to the broadcast Génération Jeunes Interprètes on France Musique, and won the 1st prize at the Leopold Bellan International Chamber Music Competition. She was studing with Richard Vieille and Florent Héau with whom she obtained the Concert diploma. At the same time, Julie was admitted to the chamber music class with Paul Meyer and Éric Le Sage after studying with Philippe Ferro. For two years, she was part of the Orchestra Training Department conducted by Pierre-Michel Durand.
