Léo Belthoise mainly studied at the Musik Akademie Basel with Raphaël Oleg, Rainer Schmidt and Sol Gabetta, where he completed a Master degree with maximum marks in both violin and chamber music. Supported by the Swiss Foundation for Young Musicians, he dedicates himself to contemporary music creations and new scenic experiences through the collaboration with composers, musicians, dancers, film directors and virtual designers. His solo performance will notably be presented at the ZeitRaüme Biennale in Basel, the St-Petersburg Contemporary Music Center, and the CNSMD in Lyon during the 2019/2020 concert season.
