After their first collaboration on the show ANUSIM, Dança em Diálogos and the American company Dance NOW! Miami meet again for the new project Blue Pencil.

 

Inspired by the censorship of the “Blue Pencil” during the Estado Novo dictatorship, this show directly addresses issues such as authoritarianism and repression, bringing stories of struggle and resilience from different parts of the world.

 

This collaborative show also features other pieces from the repertoire of the two companies and the participation of the EADCN - Escola Artística de Dança do Conservatório Nacional, in an even more special sharing of the stage.

 

The event is part of RHI - Revolution Hope Imagination, with the support of Arte Institute, two organizations dedicated to international artistic collaboration and the promotion of contemporary Portuguese art around the world. This show also has the support of the Municipality of Cascais.
