Concert by Senza

19 June 2020, 9:00pm

SENZA is formed by Catarina Duarte and Nuno Caldeira in 2015 after a 3-month trip through Southeast Asia. Their 1st album "Praia da Independência", was awarded the "Disco ANTENA 1" label, and premiered live in Goa, in India.

In the first quarter of 2018, they release the long awaited 2nd album "Antes da Monção", featuring the unavoidable musicians Rão Kyao and Júlio Pereira, which received prominent pages in such portuguese media as Público, Diário de Notícias, Sábado, or JN and had performances in Portugal, Spain, France, South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Brazil. During their tour in Southern Africa, they take part in the HIFA International World Music Festival in Zimbabwe.

In June, they travel to Brazil to perform shows in Salvador da Bahia, with Bahian artists Ju Moraes, Alexandre Leão and Levi Lima, for the celebrations of Portugal Day in São Paulo.

In 2019, they joined the selection of Portuguese artists of NOS (a major mobile communications company in Portugal), in the promotional action on the island of Madeira, along with Sara Tavares, Márcia, Capitão Fausto, DJ Vibe and Moullinex.

In April of the same year, they are Portugal's bet for the European jazz event in Mexico City, EuroJazz, surprising with its fusion sound, an attendance of 3000 people.
