Writer Kátia Bandeira de Mello-Gerlach (Brazil/USA) and choreographer Allison Plamondon (Canada) joined forces at the New York Foundation for the Arts, Immigrant Artists mentoring program and have created an artistic collaboration based on literature, dance and music.  The presentation offers an opportunity for the public to share the experience of a new generation of immigrants in American soil and allows for the expression of feelings of exile. A creative process with body movement inspired by provocative literary fragments.  The public should be prepared for an interactive and expansive venue.
